Project Brief
Deliver a development that converts an under-utilised and blighted site into a new high-quality compact housing stock, adding further vibrancy to the northwest precinct of Norwood.
Design Elements
The majority of the apartments have north facing living areas, and all have private open spaces leading off from their living areas creating an ‘indoor-outdoor’ feeling. Planting of mature trees create visual barriers and sun shading. Dwellings are designed to address streets and public pedestrian spaces with vehicle access and garaging integrated into secondary zones with little or no visual impact on built form. The development uses a variety of materials chosen for their physical appeal, humanistic scale and connection to the surrounding historical environment.
